Permalinks

Using Kloxo control panel, I installed wordpress and it was no problem. However, when I tried to change Permalink Setting, all the choices showed up with index.php on the structure (see image above).

HERE’S HOW TO REMOVE INDEX.PHP FROM PERMALINK SETTING:

1. You need to have access to the root (admin), if not then you have to contact your admin.

2. Login to Kloxo and on the left sidebar look for SERVER :LINUX –> SWITCH PROGRAM.

kloxo-switch

3. If you’re seeing light “lighttpd”, then from dropdown menu under WEB, choose APACHE.

You will need to wait one minute before the new service properly restarts.

Check your blog permalink setting and voila..

Problem solved!
