Download Old Yahoo Messenger Sounds

The newer version of Yahoo messenger sounds are quite low and at times not that audible, unlike the older version.

You can download the old yahoo messenger sounds at Wackyb.co.nz

1. Download and extract the file.

2. Copy paste the .wav file into

C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Media

3. Overwrite when prompted.

4. After you had pasted the .wav files, go to your Yahoo messenger –> click MESSENGER –> from dropdown choose PREFERENCES –> ALERTS & SOUNDS.

5. Choose the sound you would like to set for every yahoo messenger activity.
